Christmas Thread 2014

It's that time of the year again! Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should do this year? Last year, we held a snowball fight and Secret Santa event. The snowball fight was actually really fun, to be honest.

Oh yeah, don't forget the Christmassy usernames! I have dibs on 2nd Lt. Finland this year. Again. Yeah.

I think the secret santa thing is quite cute :3
I'm not too sure what to do for a roleplay type thing (like the snowball fight). Kinda depends on how many people would want to do it, I suppose.
What about a christmassy fan art/fic competition? Just a thought - could be fun.

That's what we tried doing in 2012... it didn't quite work out. Mainly because the judge a.k.a me was and still is a horrible procrastinator. Also because there weren't as many users on Penguins United back then. The snowball fight thing though. We were basically multi-fandom RPing a bunch of people throwing snowballs back and forth but it was funny seeing all their reactions. XD As for the Secret Santa, well... the more people we can get involved it, the merrier! Last time, there were only four people in it (one of them was me of course) so it was kinda lame. :I

Other than repeating past events, does anyone have something new this holiday season?

Maybe a PoM Christmas marathon with us on Join.Me? We'll watch the Christmas specials and A Christmas Caper, roleplay, and do other stuffs. :3

Aaaaaand... It's December! Just to get in the mood I've already done some... alterations... to my profile. Still Finland this year. Yep.

Slight problem, Panda... Join.me doesn't do sound, last I checked. Subtitles might work but it's still really frustrating watching videos without the sound. A Join.me chat still sounds like a good idea though. Or maybe iScribble! We can all draw stuff together or something.

If everyone agrees, we can have that snowball fight thing again! Now that was fun. I'll set it up once I have enough positive feedback about it.

iScribble sounds fun, except my new mouse sucks. So the pictures wouldn't look too good. But they'd probably end up looking funny, and I guess that's kind of the point huh? =w=;

Snowball fight! Ve~! Si, si! We totally~ have to do it again this year. =w= Wonder what characters I could drag into it? Oh, and would there be a limit on how many characters on our teams? Ve...that would make the decision making even harder. =w=; But it would be so~ much fun. Especially if we can get more than three or four people to join.

Same with Secret Santa. That was nice last year. Ve~. =w=

Well as for holiday related stuff, I don't know yet. NYC is currently on vacation so there's no one else in charge to tell us what to do... =_=;

I do hope we have a snowball fight though. I'm still trying to decide who to have on my team. Weighing pros and cons of potential fighters, since we're allowed to bring in non-PoM characters if we want. That's what we did last year at least.

Anyone else thinking about their team yet? I doubt that we'd be allowed more than four on our team total. Who to chose~?

Hola~ Yeah I know I'm supposed to be on vacation now (in Anaheim right now yey) but the hotel has wifi and I'm bored. XD

The snowball fight thing was kind of like a multifandom role play. Make a team if whatever characters you want and everyone throws snowballs at each other. The fun is in the fact that there's no limit to HOW you throw the snowballs and watching others' reaction to them. Or at least, that's how I would describe it.

But how many characters would be allowed on our team? That still hasn't been said (and I can't remember the limit from last year). Need to know~. =w=

I don't think there was a limit last year?? The initial number of starting characters must be at least one and maximum two, unless you weren't there from the beginning and is joining in mid-battle like Yoda last year. So no limit, but only one new member at a time and make sure there is a two-post interval before another can be brought in.
