Monique grabbed Julien's arms to get him to stop pounding the little mouse lemur. But then, she used one of his arms to pound the ringtail in the eye. "Julien, this isn't getting us anywhere! I highly recommend we try to use less violence unless it really is necessary, meaning, not when you say so!" she explained with tone and eyes filled with stress.

Somebody Cue Piper doing her little trumpet sound and then another: "LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!" Then flying off with Rico in her flippers, still.
Krys then shoved Maurice on the last set of bars on her wing, with Private, Manuka, and Lucy still on them, and took off with Mort, Monique in her cat form in her flippers, with Skipper flying next to her on his own bat wings.

"By the way, where exactly are we going?" Private asked looking concerned. He was trying not to look back for fear of what he might see. Lucy had closed her eyes again, so she wasn't seeing anything. And Rico was enjoying the ride. But Private's question reminded Lucy of something.
"Hey, wait a minute. This is a movie, right? That's on the same tape as a bunch of other movies, right? So, uh...will we escape this movie and end up back home or, um...will we just end up in the movie that's taped after this one?"

Monique just put her hand over her eyes in annoyance. "Look, everybody just keep your heads up or your hair down, whatever. I've heard too much negative attitudes to put up with anymore. I don't care how naiive it sounds anymore, but KEEP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE!!" she said, irritated.

Private and Rico were also tired of the whole possession thing, but they weren't going to say anything about it. Private was going to try and have a positive attitude, but Lucy's last statement left him puzzled. "Why wouldn't the candy be there?"
"I don't know. Rats could come and steal it or something. Or...or...time could get distorted and the candy goes bad or melts before we get home."
Private didn't like the sound of that. "Aww. I really wanted to eat those peanut butter Lunacorns."

Private screamed with fright and closed his eyes. Rico took one brief glance back, then he spat out a stick of lit dynamite into the path of the creature. Some seconds later it exploded. The blast propelled the group forward at a fast clip; speeding them away from their fiendish stalker, while slowing it down at the same time.

Private braced for impact as he saw where exactly Krystal aiming at. She was aiming at the roof, yes, but more specifically the skylight on top of the roof. "Oh dear. I hope we don't get cut by any of that glass. It'll be worse than a paper cut," he thought to himself as he closed his eyes.
"Woo-hoo!" Rico shouted from somewhere else. Private didn't dare look, but he assumed that Piper was following Krystal. And natural the thought of breaking anything would excite the psycho penguin. But he wasn't going to comment on any of that. It'd be too impolite.
Lucy had a death grip on the bar and her eyes were closed tight. She didn't like the sound of dive bombing a building at all; not at all. But she didn't say anything about it. She was afraid if she opened her beak, that she'd throw up. So she kept silent as the air whistled past at high speed, and merely prayed in her mind that they'd make it out of there alive and in one piece.
