New Team Member?

I've been wondering about this for a while, but I literally don't know ANYONE else who likes the penguins, so I don't have any other opinions...
What do you think the guys would do if they had another Penguin transferred to Central Park Zoo, to stay? Would their reactions be different whether it was a girl or boy? Where would they sleep? (there isn't any more space where the bunks are)

I think Kowalski would LOVE it if they were good at science, because he does seem to get irritated at the lack of other geniuses! Although, he isn't very good at talking to girls, so it may take him several weeks to even say "Hi" unless the new member was male.

Private would be the most enthusiastic, that's for sure. Rico would probably be suspicious...but he'd be cool with him/her after a few days. They'd probably have to do something really heroic/commando/awesome to gain Skipper's trust. Or maybe have a mutual enemy.

I think it would make for a great episode!
If it was one, though, the new penguins would probably have to leave at the end, because then the writers would have to add them into every episode...It could still be awesome though! All of their reactions would be hilarious, but I think we're all betting Skipper's would be the most over the top (correct me if I'm wrong!)

Good point on it having the new team member being written in every episode if he/she stayed. It's like in "Ghost Whisperer" where the writers have to continue adding that Jim is dead, but he's known as "Sam" now.

If the new penguin was a girl, Skipper would definitely be really suspicious, probably more so than if the new arrival was a boy, because of his past experiences with the Chinstrap sisters. It would be interesting to see how all the penguins react, though- I'm not sure any of them have had that much experience with female penguins.

If it was a girl I'm pretty sure all the Penguins but Private wouldn't even really know how to talk to her. Private would just care if she likes Lunicorns or not... And even if she didn't he'd still be nice and cute and Private-like.
I think Rico would get used to her second, it'd just be a bit of a shock at first, but after a while he'd just treat her like a normal member of the team (more so, of course, if she liked blowing things to high heaven!)
Kowalski would be okay with her, but he'd say ALL the wrong things at first, because you know he's just amazing with women......
Skipper would probably not get used to her for ages and ages, he would be convinced she was a spy. Not sure how she would convince him otherwise.
