So, this is off-topic but I recently found out Hostess' "Twinkies" are going extinct because the company is bankrupt. This is pretty interesting news considering it's the same thing that happened to "Peanut Butter WINKIES." Deja vu, huh?

Yeah. The workers are all on strike, so my sis told me Thursday, and she said that the workers were told that if they didn't get back to work the factories would be closed. All of them. Huh. Wonder if that's the real reason that the Winky Factory shut down?

Personally I don't eat Twinkies, but really, why so serious? We've had workers going on strike before; it ended in one big riot. (shudders) Hopefully this doesn't exacerbate like it did for us back then...

It seems that it did. Not in a riot though. Mass firings and a total shut down of all Hostess and Mertia(which is owned by Hostess) factories. No more Hostess snack cakes. No more Mertia beard or Wonderbread(Hostess owned that too). My family is going to have to start buying a different brand of bread now.

To paraphrase Rico's line from Private and the Winky Factory: "Buy Twinkies." *waves sadly*

All Twinkies were, really, were a kind of yellow cake with cream in the middle. Unless you have an aversion to cake and cream, then you would have liked Twinkies.

Twinkies sound fine. Though, to all those who read The Mark of Athena, I think we all know that this Wonderbread isn't anything like the Wonder Bread in the book. High in calories and all the red and yellow dots on the plastic wrapper.

The POM MV Awards for 2013. Any suggestions?
What kind of fanfictions do we like to read or write?
Combining POM with something else, maybe it could get some hits if it was released to the media (my idea kinda involves a "Saturday Night Live" episode dedicated to the fanguins:lol! Smile
